About the event
This is an opportunity to take a tour around the private gardens of one of Richmond‘s most historic and beautiful houses.
Originally this was the site of the huge Palace of Richmond, home to medieval kings and the favourite palace of Queen Elizabeth I, all lost after the Civil War. Now the gardens that replace it feature a wide range of fascinating garden styles. The tour will be led by Mark Lucas and Karen Feeney who will tell the story of the Palace in an informative but light hearted way.
Agenda
Arrive at 16.00 for a free glass of sparkling wine reception, followed by a tour of the garden.
Maximum 30 guests and please note no parking on Old Palace Yard.
